What up-updates?

Come on, Becker-It’s not like you have anything more important to do than this website.

We are using Sportsline.com for our statistical data.  Our site, grabs the sportsline batting information daily at 2am.  I noticed that at 7:30am today, sportsline updated thier data with yesterday’s results.  I’ll check it for the next couple of days and if the they do there update around this time ,i’ll set our job to run daily, right after 7:30am.

I just manually ran the update so the site should reflect yesterday’s home runs.

Now, back to work.

I just checked the update and I don’t think it is accurate because Dunn hit 2 dingers yesterday (yes, he’s on my team) and it did not catch those. :(

The leaderboard is not accurate.  You are right.  I’ll take the link down until I get it fixed.  This is a new process, so bare with me while we work out the kinks.

How can you tell who has what players? I recieved an E-mail for my team, but is there any way to look at who has who?

I’ll get the rosters up once we get manually submitted entries entered into the system.  Once the rosters are posted I’ll need everyone to validate their teams.

Hey listen Miss KWAR, you may have been the Queen of a classicly cool radio station but don’t be dissing my Homie Sir Becker, okay?? He will have the site perfected in no time and has given The Derby a re-birth.

Bhotel, I appreciate the efforts of Beckerz.  But, as you know, during my KWAR reign I expected nothing but perfection.  Why would that change now? 
To show that I’m not completely heartless, technically I have 4 homeruns but have not posted anything because I know the site still has some bugs-but just know, I have 4 homeruns   Just as you do in real life, prepare to look up at me in the standings all year baby-

Effective 4/6, the batting statistics will be downloaded from Sportsline.com by 6am (previously it was done at 2am).  This way each day our site will reflect the current Sportsline statistics.

Also, I have posted a “Rosters” link on the home page (www.hrd.beckerz.com).  At some point I’ll work and making it look a little nicer and some better navigation tools.  I AIN’T no programmer so be patient and calm the FUDD down.

FOR THE RECORD…..I know there is a problem with the player “M.Cabrera.”  I’m working on it.  Right now the teams who have Miguel Cabrera also has Melky Cabrera showing up on thier rosters.  I’ll get it fixed soon.
